Curtain Coating Machines
In the process of Curtain Coating Machine the curtain of fluid is created and the object to be coated is passed through. Curtain coating machinery is build in two variants Single and Multi layer combo (Slide) or only single-layer (slot). Curtain coater has tank of fluid from which a thin screen falls down in between the conveyors. The thickness of layer can be controlled by the speed of moving conveyer and the opening of the tank.
Curtain coating is a premetered method, which means that the amount of liquid required is supplying from the tank to the screen, to be deposited on the substrate. The term "premetered" indicates that only the exact amount of fluid to be coated onto the web is fed to the coating head.
